Military Sciencefiction

Science fiction is really a subject that is constantly evolving and evolving. It is such a superior matter for being a member of this military. But what do you do if you had been in the military?

I used to read all of the paperbacks and novels that I could get my hands on when I was in the Army capstone proposal format and there was one author that I liked best and that was Robert Heinlein. He was always doing this kind of political commentary and I couldn’t help but be drawn into his imaginary world. I became a huge fan.

Then I joined the Air Force and there was this science fiction author that was also in the Air Force and it was this all star author and he was a war-time hero. He was a Navy fighter pilot and then later became a colonel and worked on non-fiction books like Army science fiction. That got me interested and I think he was the first person I ever heard, “As far as I’m concerned, you can never go wrong with military science fiction.”

I met that military science https://www.capstoneproject.net/ fiction author a few times in his office and after I left the service I was able to visit him and talk to him for a while. He was also a veteran of the Gulf War, I think. I asked him if he had any military science fiction that he liked.

His answer was, “Oh, I have a lot of military science fiction to write, and there are a lot of interesting things that are happening in the Gulf right now, as you know. When we’re not fighting each other, we’re fighting against the Russians, who have an ace up their sleeve in the form of Dmitri Shostakovich and his orchestra.

We’re attempting to find out if they’re sending their armed forces brass with thembecause we’ve got a issue and that the Russians are taking part in their music, too, but their new music isn’t great thus far.”

Well, it was nice to see that we were at least in the same boat with Russian music and Shostakovich. The difference between the two of us was Shostakovich was in the world of the future, whereas Kalashnikov was in the world http://cs.gmu.edu/~zduric/day/essay-help-free.html of the present.

I really enjoyed the book by Shostakovich, which was about a physicist who became a double agent for the Soviet Union and found out how to program Kalashnikovs. Well, after that book, we never really talked about it anymore and the reader never knew what we were up to.

Then, there was one science fiction novel about a helicopter pilot and his adventures through the Third World, and he was living in a pyramid and some of the people there didn’t believe in God. It was funny. It was a little bit interesting, but it wasn’t much of a story.

I loved the military science fiction book by Jack Gaughan about a ship that was captured by a bunch of pirates and they came to them with human sacrifice. And they put a brainwashing device on the ship and kept them in watertight compartments and then stuck human skulls in the compartments and they were starved for over ten days.

There was also another science fiction novel by Albert Bierstadt where the ship was taking supplies through the Bermuda Triangle and he was in the midst of all of that and then they had to refuel and go home and they all had to be human sacrifices. Then there was one by John W. Campbell Jr., where an astronaut died and so the ship had to take off with a dead astronaut on board and then there was one about a soldier that came back and then his wife got arrested for the murder and the whole book was about the fight between the woman and her lawyer.

There are some good science fiction novels out there. You just have to look around and find some good science fiction novels and see if there is something that interests you. and if you can follow it, it’s a good book.
